Creative Brief

This collection of emotive GIFs aims to illustrate, articulate, and convey eight distinctive emotions through timeless loop animations and commercial products.

Approach

These emotive artworks were initially sketched by hand. Separating layers for each emotion, similar to a storyboard, and positioning the figures—moving in and out, infinitely walking into screens, or circulating around—was instrumental in conveying their emotions. Finally, the artworks were conceptualized as potential commercial products.

Results

The results can be literal but also explore themes of dark humor, whimsy, and quirky elements. Additionally, they delve into the grotesque and peculiar sides, seamlessly blending enchantments, which makes them highly desirable items for collectors when these artworks are turned into physical objects.
